Fluidic Analytics, a spin-out from the University of Cambridge, today announced the receipt of a £100k funding award from the Smart – Proof-of-Concept scheme, managed by Innovate UK – the UK's innovation agency.
The grant will support development activities aimed at advancing the Company's flagship product, the Flow Mk-1, through key commercial design and manufacturing milestones en route to market.
The Flow Mk-1 is a lab-based analytical tool comprising a disposable chip and reader that offers rapid, highly-sensitive characterisation and quantification of proteins in low-volume samples.
