CSO Professor Tuomas Knowles named Academic Entrepreneur of the Year

Fluidic Analytics' founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Professor Tuomas Knowles, has been named Academic Entrepreneur of the Year at the Business Weekly awards.

Professor Knowles accepts the award, alongside Paul Mason and Anne Dobrée 

Professor Knowles' group in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Cambridge undertakes research into protein misfolding and self-assembly. As part of this research Microfluidic Diffusional Sizing, or MDS, was created - the technology that underpins our award winning protein analysis instruments.

The award was announced at a ceremony held in Queen's College where an audience of 250 joined to celebrate the success of companies across all sectors in the region.
