Tools Software Engineer

The role

We are seeking a passionate software engineer to develop in-house tools to help our scientists and mechanical engineers perform instrument calibration, equipment testing and robotic automation.

  • UI design experience e.g. plotting
  • Software testing experience including writing automated test scripts
  • Experience of developing API’s to control bespoke electronic equipment
  • Ability to work on your own and organise work tasks to deadlines with little supervision
  • Practical pragmatic results-oriented mindset with a preference for what gets done rather than how things get done

  • A high-level of competence, integrity and communication
