Supply Chain Manager

Are you a highly motivated, commercially focused person able to lead and develop the Global supply chain function at Fluidic? You will work closely with R&D, Production and Sales to develop internal and external production schedules; ensuring superb customer service by partnering with CMOs, logistics partners and suppliers; and oversee all related supply activities.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain:

  • Implement and manage the Group’s supply chain functions including Demand Planing and Stock management, Procurement, Production Planning, CMO and logistics
  • Develop and report site and suppliers KPI’s including: supplier quality, delivery, costs, OTIF
  • Ensure that suppliers meets product quality standards and delivery times by ensuring clear and measurable specificaions are set and agreed
  • Work with R&D to ensure there is a long term sourcing strategy prior to new products market launch
  • Occasional domestic and international suppliers visits required

Demand Plan and Stock Management:

  • Produce quarterly manufacturing plans to ensure CMOs and internal resources are available and scalate any potential constraint
  • Review capacity utilisation against forecasted demand on a monthly basis
  • Create the weekly production plan
  • Material demand planning and stock control to fulfill the sales and R&D forecast

Procurement:

  • All day to day purchasing activities ensuring that parts are delivered on-time

CMO:

  • Lead outsourcing capacity planning activities ensuring delivery against production plan and optimise costs by providing the suppliers with demand forecasts (0 to 12month)
  • Escalating any potential long-term supplier capacity issues and ensuring that no single point failure exists for critical components
  • Build and develops solid relationships with external suppliers to continuously improve delivey times, quality and costs
  • Act as a single point of contact between Production and CMOs to ensure quality standards are understood and delivered

Logistics:

  • Goods In, Goods Out, picking and associated system processes
  • Ensure customers orders are received on time-in full 

Systems:

  • The Successful implementation of the new ERP system across the areas listed above
  • Identification of system improvements and automation which feed into the system roadmap
  • Ensuring the accuracy and intergrity of system information on a timely basis

 

You’ve got this covered:

  • 5+ years experience supply chain encompassing the areas of responsibility above
  • Process driven focus, with demonstrable ability to ensure we have a documented, scalable methodology to support fast growth
  • Strong business mindset and pragmatic approach
  • Determined proven problem solver
  • Thinker and doer: from strategic implementation to rolling your sleeves up and supporting the team and customers
