Fluidic Analytics is a dynamic, early-stage company that designs, develops and manufactures products that seek to revolutionise the way proteins are characterised. Our roots stretch back to a group of scientists who were inspired by the roles that proteins play in the biological world, driven to understand more about how proteins behave and function, but frustrated by the lack of suitable tools for protein characterisation. So they decided to invent their own.

And we believe that Fluidic Analytics can help make this vision a reality by developing products that enable easier, faster, more convenient and more accurate protein characterisation, whether in the lab, at the bedside or in everyday life.We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional to play a key role in our business and be responsible for building product-focused marketing campaigns for Fluidic Analytics' transformational lab instruments and services for characterizing protein interactions.

The Opportunity

Participate in and generate content for tactical marketing activities, helping to optimize content and deployment based on performance data and analytics

  • Contribute to the production of hard-copy and electronic marketing materials, by writing and producing scripts and copy, or supporting the appropriate expert to do so
  • Produce tactics designed to generate and qualify leads in drug development, translational research and other relevant sectors
  • Identify and promote customer stories that are central to building campaigns
  • Plan and build content for a range of channels including social media, email marketing and event-based tactics
  • Proactively incorporate analytics to improve our marketing campaigns

Support all product management activities at Fluidic Analytics

  • Craft compelling messages for Fluidic Analytics’ products and service for use across marketing channels
  • Provide training for our sales team on the knowledge and tools they need to move leads efficiently down the sales funnel
  • Position our products, services and data-science tools against competitors to penetrate markets rapidly and deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers

Support strategic marketing activities by understanding how we can win in specific markets

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of activities of competitors, partners and companies operating in parallel sectors of the life-sciences tools, diagnostics and data science industry
  • Make the most of our unique capabilities to quantify protein interactions in complex clinical samples and with challenging targets

Effectively promote an internal culture that empowers all team members to contribute to the company’s sales and marketing activities

  • Promote a culture where input from all members of the company is sought and shared during all phases of product life cycle

Requirements

Requirements of the Candidate:

  • Broad perspective (ideally resulting from experience in product management and marketing)
  • A minimum of five years combined experience in marketing & product management in a commercial organization
  • Relevant scientific qualification (experience in protein science would be a major advantage)
  • Strong communication skills (both articulation and listening)
  • Clear propensity for lateral thinking
  • Experience in the launch and early roll-out of at least one commercial product
  • Experience in an SME highly desirable
  • Willingness to roll-up sleeves to get things done

Additional Information:

  • This role will report to the Head of Strategic Marketing
  • Remote working offered in this role
  • There will be a requirement to travel to our Headquarters in Cambridge, UK on occasion
